Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the world’s number one killer. Combined, conditions affecting the heart or blood vessels – such as heart attack, stroke and heart failure – kill more than 20.5 million every year. World Heart Day is celebrated each year on 29 September to raise awareness and mobilize international action against cardiovascular disease (CVD). Students of the Central Asian International Medical University Jehand Ali, Muhammad Shoaib Razzak took part in the 77th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students of Medical Universities on the topic: "ACHIEVEMENTS OF FUNDAMENTAL APPLIED MEDICINE AND PHARMACY", held on May 19-20, 2023 in Samarkand State Medical University, the Republic of Uzbekistan, made scientific reports and were awarded diplomas for the "Best Report".
